Tradition, innovation, and excellence: the story of Ceramvetro Gold

It was 1949 when the first batch of collodion was produced by the newly founded Ceramvetro in Sesto Fiorentino, the heart of Italian ceramics and home to Europe’s oldest factory, Richard Ginori.

In a post-war Italy, our founder, Amelio Trefoloni, invested all his assets and energy into a dream of a better future for himself and his family.

A dream fulfilled, because three generations later, Ceramvetro is a modern company capable of competing with large multinationals in global markets.

This success is due to the dedication and hard work of a family, the expertise of the historic Sesto ceramics district, and a constant drive to innovate products for an ever-evolving market.

That's why, in the late 1980s, Ceramvetro equipped itself with an advanced laboratory and started producing gold (liquid and paste), with a technology that only an extremely limited number of companies in the world are able to support.

The innovation was so significant that the company decided to add "Gold" to its name, becoming Ceramvetro Gold.

Over the years, Ceramvetro Gold has built strong collaborations and synergies with its clients, focusing on high quality. This success is driven by a continually updated product catalogue and extensive experience, enabling effective problem-solving in top market segments.

The flexible organization and ongoing commitment of the ownership ensure that Ceramvetro Gold can develop tailor-made products to meet the specific needs of each client, who becomes a partner in a shared project aimed at achieving mutual goals and strengthening market positions over the long term.

Ceramvetro Gold is now present on all five continents, reflecting its international focus and making it one of the most active Tuscan companies abroad. The company's success over the years is attributed to its blend of tradition, innovation, and customer focus, allowing it to lead new market trends.
